On making things happen

Again, Friday and another note, aphorism, or poem in my ambition to shorten and improve my writing skills and eliminate academic jargon.

This short note was inspired by an interview I read in which the CEO defended their poor performance by stating that the strategic plans were not yet ready, and therefore performance was lagging. In my head, I quietly thought that maybe starting to act instead of planning would increase performance. But what do I know? Anyway, here's the note:
.

On making things happen: The sooner we realize that there is no natural law dividing strategy formulation from strategy execution, the better. In a changing world where a fast pace forces us to learn quickly to adapt, plans quickly become obsolete. Moving forward, realizing strategy, through experimentation and adjustment guided by some long-term ambition is a far more suitable tactic when both means and goals are largely unknown.
